Investing in real estate now is lucrative thanks to the marvel known as 0% APR. With the high cost of Hawaii’s market this is even more so the case. We have this year seen a surge in buyer activity while also noticing new trends. Thanks to higher demand the bidding process is far more competitive. Our last deal we closed had 14 offers from competitors – almost unheard off. If agents or brokers don’t have a strategy for dealing with this they can leave clients frustrated.
Also, inventory is remarkably low. This creates a powerful situation for sellers to leverage higher bids with the now feisty market – creating further uncertainty. The value is there either way around but execution is now much harder to determine.
Finding someone who has the wisdom to maneuver the unique market is imperative. The deals are numbered and the lines are long if your a buyer.
